About Us
Dedicated Breeders
We are passionate about Labradors. Our dogs are our partners- in the field, in the blind, on the dock, and in life. Our goal is to produce a partner for your family. We think the ideal Labrador has the trainability and desire to please to succeed in any arena. We strive to produce dogs with the demeanor to excel without requiring professional training, but also dogs that are fun to live with.
Happy and Healthy
Our dogs have OFA scored hips and normal elbows. We have done genetic panels through Embark to ensure our pups will not be affected by any hereditary diseases we can test for. They also have annual eye exams with an ophthalmologist. The health of our dogs and puppies is of utmost importance to us.
A Solid Start
Our litters are raised in the house and we interact with them multiple times a day. Our pups are exposed to a variety of smells, surfaces, and sounds. We will introduce duck wings, along with a variety of other toys and textures. Mom is allowed free interaction with her pups, and they are socialized with our child and as many other people as safely possible. We do ENS and follow Puppy Culture.
Roux and Shyner litter
The puppies were born May 24! This litter should have just the right amount of drive to do just about anything. Roux and Shyner are both involved in multiple sports and they are stellar in the duck blind. They both have all the health clearances for OFA CHIC. Contact us for more information!
Balanced Rock Retrievers
Color
Coat color can be a bit of a sticking point in Labradors. We are not breeding for color, rather for health, trainability, and temperament. Right now, due to the coat genetics of the dogs in our program, our litters will be completely black. Under no circumstances will we produce a silver lab from our breeding program. We do, on occasion, find one in our backyard.
